Purnell Enterprises is a family owned and operated business located right in the heart of Delmarva on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Owners Gabriel (Gabe) and Diana Purnell have become a big part of the local Eastern Shore community since the early 70’s; that's when they moved to Berlin, MD to start up a small cleaning company for several local businesses located in Ocean City and Salisbury. Not long afterwards, they also began providing moving & hauling services for many of these same businesses.

Eventually, they sold their original cleaning business so that they could concentrate on their new venture and they have not looked back, since.

With the support of the local business community and with a growing reputation for affordability, dependability, and commitment to customer service, their moving and hauling business has continued to grow and grow over the years. Though they no longer maintain a commercial cleaning service, Purnell Enterprises, LLC has developed an all natural deodorizing product called De-Odor Rod, which uses zeolites to destroy odors instead of merely replacing them. USED FURNITURE WAREHOUSE

It wasn’t long after they started their moving and hauling business that Purnell Enterprises branched out and opened up a used furniture business.When that venture finally outgrew its first home in the early 1980’s, they moved to their present Berlin, MD location where they opened up a 4,000sq. ft. warehouse store.

More recently, they have established another Used Furniture Warehouse store location at the Rt. 13 Flea Market in Pocomoke, MD, just a couple minutes north of the Maryland-Virginia border near Chincoteague and Accomac County, VA. The main warehouse in Berlin is open from Monday through Friday while the Pocomoke store is only open on Saturdays and Sundays.
